Resolved Runtime change requirements with new builds ?

Hello,

We currently have the PB runtime 2022R3 build 3356 deployed in our production environment.

I'm glad to see that PB 2022R3 build 3391 addresses the issue of the use of .NET v6 and now uses .NET v8 !

My question is simple then : do I have to update the PB runtime of my production environment (build 3356 >> build 3391) ? Aren't the runtimes version compatibles when they stand within the same main version number (2022R3) ?

Hi.

Please, read the following conversation: Question about PB runtimes releases and EBFs. (appeon.com). Pay attention to what Chris Pollach comments.

While an application could seem to be running fine using a different runtime from the one used during compilation, I would recommend to always deploy the appropriate runtime...
