We have a customer that's trying to run our application on a brand new PC with Windows 11 Home. We've had customers in the past that have had all kinds of issues that we've had to solve, but this one has got us stumped. The only thing we can determine that might be different is it's a "secured-core PC." (After researching what that means, I have no idea why the retailer would pair that with the Home version of Windows 11.)
Is there an issue with running a PowerServer app on a "secured-core" PC? It seems like something is being blocked. If we log in as the user, the application disappears after the login screen. If we log in as us (which makes the program have different features), we get to the next screen but most of the application doesn't work. It's like all the necessary files aren't being downloaded properly.
This customer has bought 10 of these PCs... :(
Update: It turns out this was actually our older app that runs on Appeon Web, which I guess means I posted to the wrong category (we do have a PowerServer app but we haven't run into this problem with it yet). We ended up having them use our PowerBuilder client/server version instead as a workaround for the time being.
