Hi

I am a bit confused by how a PowerServer web application is run.

Currently I have a web application on a remote server.

When I am to run it, I open up a browser and put in the http://IP:port/appname/iwarunner.html

I am then prompted to download the iwarunner exe and to install it on my local PC. When it's done installing, the app shows up and runs. All dandy.

My question is- is that the only way to run a PowerServer app? Do my users have to download and install the iwarunner exe?

Is there a way to run a web app without the downloading/installing? I can just see my users asking Why they need to download some program to run the app when the app is 'on the web.'

If I omit the 'iwarunner.html' part of the URL and just put in http://IP:port/appname the message in the attached screen shot appears. The URL address bar now have http://IP:port/appname/multi_browser_index.htm shown.

And, that was it. The app doesn't run

Any explanation is appreciated.

Thanks
