Hi,

Is it possible to run PowerServer 2021 applications on a server without internet access?

I noticed 2 things in the documentation that indicates a runtime internet dependency.

1. Licensing. Access to the license server is required.
Source: https://docs.appeon.com/ps2021/Import_license_and_activate_PowerServer.html at the bottom of the page:

"Please make sure the Web API server can connect to the following Appeon websites (through port number 80): https://apips.appeon.com and https://apipsoa.appeon.com (or https://apips.appeon.net and https://apipsoa.appeon.net) so that the Appeon license server can successfully validate the license and activate the PowerServer packages."

2. NuGet access seems to be required.
Source: https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/whats_new/PowerServer_deployment.html#API_Server under "PowerServer components" it is mentioned that the server should have access to www.nuget.org.

Thanks in advance,

Erwin

Hi Erwin, No, PowerServer 2021 and newer requires exceptions to be made to at least connect to the licensing server.
