Hi,

When creating a runtime, when should one choose TX v15 or TX v28? This applies to PB2021 as well as earlier runtimes; and partially to PB2022. Partially, since on PB2022 there is only one TX checkbox.

It looks like we use the legacy Rich Text editor, and in that case I would expect the pbrtc.dll be sufficient.

But then it looked like TX v28 was also necessary.

Then at the customers it failed since tx 15 was not in place.

I am planning to include all three, but it would be nice to know if that is really necessary, or how these hang together in detail to make better decisions.

Thanks in advance!

When creating the runtime, you should check the version of TX TextControl your app uses. The version is set in the Additional Properties of the application object.  Once you have set the version, verify that the runtime checkbox you select is correct version.

In PB 2022, we no longer include the old version of TX TextControl it is just one version so you don't have to worry about setting correct version.
