Hi Folks
I'm afraid I didn't really realise what the ribbonbar could do for me until I started developing a new application from scratch and I wanted the options to be intuitive and complete, but just for the actions the user was attempting. In other words I was modifying the ribbonbar being displayed as the user went to different parts of the window or pages of the tabbed userobjects.
I was blown away by the speed and slickness of the changes. I started to wonder? Should I be using ribbonbars for more operational things? Elevate videos explain using javascript to deliver visual objects like trees which can respond to user actions.
Am I going to push the ribbonbar too far if I start creating what will appear to the user as dynamic treeviews and other optioning displays using the ribbonbar object?
Whats the gotchas? Or can I rely on a solid little piece of appeon code?
Cheers
