We are in the process of giving our application an updated look.  One of the features in PB 2019 was the RibbonBar but Ultimate Suite has had this for a little while now. Has anyone worked with both of these? What are the pro's and con's between them.  Our application has a framework data driven menu for each sheet that opens up so if I use the PB one then I will need to re-work my framework to support it but it seems the Ultimate Suite one will use my current m_main. Anyway, looking for some input if anyone has gone through this exercise already.

Thanks,

Chris Craft

Hi Chris,

in our PB 2019 applications we use the ribbonbar from Ultimate Suite. So far no problem and was easy and quick to make it work with ou framework.

It is a PB menu object -> possible inhertance etc ...

Our menus are also data driven. Just have to create a new one to reorganise menus entries into ribbon tabs and groups.

Best regards,

Philippe.

Thank you Philippe. I am going to test out both and see what I can come up with.
