I'm not sure if I understand your question well.

Do you want a tool to translate one language to another, like Google Translate, or do you want to translate all of the text and strings of your application objects?

Powerbuilder comes with a Translation Toolkit and Translator tool. This should generate all entries of text attributes in your application to a database. It's been years since I've last used it. Maybe it's what you're looking for.

As mentioned by Mike, there's this "Enable" product. A much more advanced and expensive version of what the kit does which comes with Powerbuilder.

regards,

MiguelL

Well, Google has an API that you could use: https://cloud.google.com/translate/

Maybe there's others who offer an API.

Greetings, Shameem -

PB does not provide any language translation functionality.

I suggest you search for a web service that satisfies your requirements and that provides a REST API to tap into that functionality from within a PowerBuilder application.

Best regards, John

No, I do not. You know your requirements better than anyone. Search engines are a terrific tool. A great feature of REST API’s is that they can be by a wide variety of development tools, so you do not have to look for a PowerBuilder-specific solution. Good luck!
