In InfoMaker 2022 when I open multiple reports I still see only 1 item in Recent Objects, even though the settings say to show the latest 8 objects.

The Recent counts from the System Options window are stored in the IM.INI file.

The actual list of recent objects are stored in the registry under a key like this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Sybase\InfoMaker\22.0\Application\$C:$Reports$reports.pbl(default)\MRUList

Paul works in support for the company I work for. He is running IM on a server, via RemoteApps.

I tried it myself from the server desktop (not RemoteApp) and I get the same problem. In the registry, when opening a report MRUList item #0 gets updated instead of creating item #1. I'm going to create a bug.

FWIW: The IM IDE is NOT supported on any Server edition of MS-Windows.

Hi Paul;

  FYI: I am not having this issue with IM 2022 or 22 R2 on either my W10 or W11 machines ...

  IM does save these values to your machine's "Registry" though, so I wonder if you are having a permissions issue?

Food for thought. HTH
Regards ... Chris
