Hello,

PB 2019 R3 R3

1.  Create a graph datawindow by selecting the required table [ Graph Type = Column ]

2.  Right Click and select properties of the created datawindow in the design mode

PB Closes without any message.

Happiness Always

Can you reproduce on another machine?  Can you reproduce when connected to a different database (e.g. instead Postgres try SQL Server)?  Can you reproduce if you create brand new project from template app and try to add this as first DW? Can you reproduce with PB 2022 on same machine?  This info can help narrow down if machine specific or DB specific or app specific or PB version specific.

Armeen,

1. Tested in two machine, same issue.

2. Tried connecting to SQL Server, same issue

3. New project, same issue

4. Haven't installed PB 2022, so could not test.

Neverthess the suggestion by Andreas solved this issue.

Hi.

For me this works without issues. Have you tried View-Layout-Default menu option (this will bring back default settings).

Andreas.

I wonder why you need to save... I don't believe that this menu option affects datawindow syntax...

Andreas.

May be I'm not clear.

Creating another graph datawindow, without saving (closing without saving) the earlier created graph datawindow, makes the IDE to close abruptly.
