Resolved re-overwrite of existing cloudapp

Hi Sir,

I wanted to ask, after i deployed the cloudapp to powerserver , for example version 1.01. And user can login to this application successfully. When there is a minor bug in the code and after we fixed it, can we redeploy to the same version ? I am using zip package. So, can i just copy the compiled clouapp and overwrite the existing one in powerserver? If can, what did user need to do? need to uninstall and install again? .net server/app need to restart?

yes

 

the user doesn't do anything.  the app updates itself

 

if the user is logged in during the update, then the app will force them out

i dnt know why, when i overwrite it. it doesnt work. I have to manually removed the folder(w version number) first. Then only unzip the package. Then it worked.
