Is it possible to print a QR code or Datamatrix barcode on an info maker report?

Are you asking if you can generate or create a QRCode or Datamatrix barcode in InforMaker?

Generate. Take string data from the database and use it to generate a QR code to be printed on a report.

Sure. A QR code is just an image, and a BLOB datatype can be an image, so put an image object onto the report and populate it from the database along with the other data.

FYI: If your going to follow Olan's suggestion, then the TableBlob feature in IM could be your new best friend. ;-)

This approach isn't practical for my use. I don't have any control over the database, I can only select data to print. The data that I need to put into the QR is a concatenated string from the database.
