Resolved Q&A notification of answering a question when you didn't

Something weird has just happened on this forum. 

I got a notification that I replied to a post while that's not true at all.

it's not the first time I've seen this happening. I think it somehow happens when someone marks one of your answers as "Resolved".

Anyone else seen this happening? I also saw it happening when I marked one of John F's answers as resolved. I'm not sure if this might happen when you choose a "Comment" (and not an "Answer") as the answer.

Not too important, just weird,

Hi Miguel,

This happens when a user accept one of your comment as the answer, which involves the progress of converting your comment to a reply and then accept the reply as the answer. However, the part where it converts your comment to a reply updates the time stamp and triggers Community to send the email notification because it thinks there's a new reply. We will try to improve this.

Correct I saw it the first time maybe like a week ago.
