Hi All

ORCA and ORCAScript both support a "3pass" option, which is "performs a full rebuild of the application. It should be used instead of full when there are complex inherited relationships."

But the IDE and PBC don't offer this option.  In our case, we can't build our massive application from the IDE.  It always crashes mid stream (this as been the case since 12.6),

Having 3pass in the IDE and PBC might just alleviate this issue.

Might this feature ever get into the Project Painter?

Coupled with this, might there be a post build facility be added to copy all the PBDs into the exe deploy folder?

Thanks

I would like to see a new version of the PBORCA_ApplicationRebuild function that had a callback that receives the status messages seen in the IDE output area.

Yakov,

just curious, why are you not just building via orcascript?  i don't see why anyone would build any decent sized app in the IDE instead of oracscript or powergen.   I just click a build batch file, and check to see when it is done.  The logging isnt' good in orcascript, but it is great in powergen.

I also never understood why PBC was created instead of just improving orcascript and building an automated orcascript generator to make it dead simple.
