Hello,
 
Nice to see the forthcoming product roadmap.   Happy to see so many planned enhancements.

Along with these I would like to know if anything is planned for Mobile development.  We here feel that Cloud development is incomplete without any mobile app developments.  
 
Would like to know whether anything is planned for Mobile App Developments ?

Hi Sivaprakash,

For mobile development, we recommend developing the business logic using the SnapDevelop IDE along with the .NET DataStore (C# version of the PowerBuilder DataStore), which you would expose as REST APIs.

This capability is already quite mature in the 2019 R3 version, so no need to wait for our product roadmap.

In terms of developing the UI for your mobile app, currently SnapDevelop doesn't support that and so you unfortunately need to use another tool, such as Visual Studio.  But it is on the roadmap for SnapDevelop to support creating ASP.NET Web projects and later ReactNative projects.

Thanks Armeen for confirming that mobile UI is on PB roadmap. Here we expected it in 2022 release.
