Resolved Problems running PowerServer behind a proxy

Getting the following message and i figure i need to encrypt the password in the Server.JSON file for ProxyOptions. 

but don't know of this encryption tool

Title: PowerServer failed to start. Abnormal network connection
Message: Failed to connect to the license server: The proxy password is not a legal encryption character, please use the encryption tool provided by PowerBuilder to encrypt and set the value to the configuration file

Hi Maurice,

PowerServer deployments include a tool that is used to customize several aspects of the Cloud Application. This tool can also encrypt passwords. Please review this tutorial and let us know if this works for you.

I have made to update to the Server.json file for my powerserver project. But do i need to make a change in the IIS config somehow.

Check on the server and make sure you can connect to https://apips.appeon.com and https://apipsoa.appeon.com

If cannot connect, you need to make exception in the firewall.

Did you add the proxy to the Web APIs configuration as per this documentation?
