Ladies and gentlemen,

 

we bought the Infomaker from you at the end of last year. My colleague Armin Forke installed the Infomaker for us.

 

However, there is still a problem: When the layout editor is opened, the following window opens.

 

 

Can you please explain to us in writing what needs to be done here so that the Infomaker can save the layouts properly.

Hi.

Infomaker needs a database to work. Did you set any database connection?

Thank you for your quick support! After your feedback we have now linked the database with the Infomaker and the layouts could be edited. However, I get the following message when saving, see screenshots.

Hello Angelika,

to create or edit a report you need a database connection. The window you see is to configure database profiles (e.g. settings to connect to a database) and/or to select an existing profile for your work.

So your first step after installation of InfoMaker is to create one or more database profiles.

If you have a colleague with an already working installation you can ask him to export the profiles (right click on "Installed Database Interfaces"). So you can simply import the profiles on your machine.

This is a very strange message. I don't like it mentions "downgrade". Is this pbl used or edited in a different version of infomaker? What is the version of infomaker you are using?

We have purchased the Infomaker 2021 version. We bought and installed the Infomaker installation at the end of last year.Thanks for your support!

Hello Angelika,

if AMOR references to CMG AMOR, it looks like your AMOR Version does need Infomaker 2017 or lower..

Take a look into the "Systemvoraussetzungen" at the vendors site (https://www.aescudata.de/download/amor.html)

After you find out the needed Infomaker Version, you can download (https://account.appeon.com/download) and install this older Version of Infomaker.
