Hi Andres;

For development use, PS2020 is included with PB2019R3.

For production, you would need to contact Sales@Appeon.com.

For W11 support, you will probably need to do this ... https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/appeon-2020-multi-browser-problem-in-window-11-22h2

PowerServer 2022 works a bit differently than older versions.  I would suggest you contact your local distributor and get some basic training.  If you are struggling how to even install it then it is very likely you will struggle even more to use it.  If for some reason you don't want to get any training, I definitely suggest read all the documentation very carefully rather than go based on your previous knowledge.  This short video has a quick demo of the newest PowerServer so you can see how it is different: https://youtu.be/66DIsDsisbE

Thanks Armeen

the issue is that the new machines are comming with Windows 11

and powerserver 2019 does not have support and we are facing some small issues

the customer have a PowerServer 2019 workgroup with a Big application running and they want only to have a Web Application they don't want to change to a Windows Cloud

Hi Cesar, Yes PowerServer 2019 is very old doesn't support latest Windows 11. You would need to upgrade to PowerServer 2022. In the meantime, you can consider to do this workaround for PowerServer 2019: https://www.appeon.com/developers/get-help/knowledgebase/powerserver2020-application-not-work-browser-windows11-22h2

Hi Andres,

You see the "Powerserver toolkit" on your image. Also, you should clear your email address from the image.

You need to proceed with the "PowerServer Toolkit". That will add the PS project to your PB IDE & give you the "Developer" version of PowerServer as well. ;-)

Hi Andres,

PowerServer Web was a feature of PowerServer 2020 and earlier, which is available up to PowerBuilder 2019 R3. Starting from PowerBuilder 2021, PowerServer got rewritten from the ground up and is now architecturally different from PowerServer 2020 and earlier and thus has no "PowerServer Web" feature.

However, PS 2021/2022 are similar in concept to PowerServer Web: they allow multiple users to consume a PowerBuilder application located in a central location, but instead of running inside a browser they run natively on the customer's PC. Additionally, instead of having the application directly access the Database, the data access is provided through a REST API by a C# ASP.NET Core Web API, which provides an additional layer of security by avoiding the storage of the database credentials on the client's PC.
Please review this product feature page to learn more about PowerServer 2022, and this documentation page to learn how to deploy to this new PowerServer.

Regards,
Francisco

Hi Andres;

  That release of PowerServer 2019 included both the Appeon Web & Appeon Mobile products within that release. However, both Appeon Web & Appeon Mobile were discontinued as of PS 2021. These features were replaced with the PB/PS "Cloud" app feature.
