I saw the response by chris to the splash screen , icon and title. 

Very useful.

I have another question based on sort of the same thing. This may be that i need to do something outside of appeon but i will ask anyway.

if you open the url to the application e.g.

http://mydomain.com/portal

you initially get a blank screen - and the add in load ups - is it possible to have some instructions or some text there explaining where you have arrived at and what to do - even if its a fairly generic web page
