Hi All,

  I have PB2022 Build1892. I believe this is up to date. Correct me if wrong. Please see attachment for my settings. It has reached the expired datetime, however, it still didnt prompt for download new copy/102.  Still running old copy 1.01. Any idea why?

After the expired time, did you try to exit the app and start the app again? The update check is only done when starting the app not while the app is running?

Hi Sim,

Please upgrade to build 1900 and try again.

A versioning feature bug was fixed in the 1900 build: "There are algorithm logic errors with the Minimum compatible version and Deployment version of PowerClient and PowerServer projects." Refer to https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/bugfixes?contents=&product=PowerBuilder&category=&version=2022&build=1900

Hi Sim;

  There have been recent fixes to this feature. Are you using PB2022 (latest MR / Build)?

" still couldnt have it to take effect. " "the versioning also cannot work."

What do you mean that the versioning doesn't work?  What is happening vs what do you expect to happen?

What version/build of Powserver are you running?  (always state the version and build number especially with new features and powerserver).

There have been fixes to versioning in powerserver, so depending on your version it could be a bug.

I suppose you did, but have you carefully read this? https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022/Manage_app_versions_and_updates.html

If you did and things don't work, please create a ticket on https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug, I think you'll get better help / explanation that way.

regards

Hi,

Not a solution probably, I don't know about the versioning. What I do know is that on your image, it shows you have to reboot the machine due to pending windows updates. Sometimes things stop working correctly until you reboot, when there are pending windows updates.

THe window updates is not a matter. I have another machine, has no window updates required, yet the versioning also cannot work.
