Hi Community,

Encounter the error during installation:

"Setup Cannot find the C:\Program Files\Appeon\PowerServer\Toolkit\ADTConfig.xml file. Setup will now terminate"

- Win 7 Pro 64bits

- install using ADMIN mode

Hi,

Please check if file 'C:\Program Files\Appeon\PowerServer\Toolkit\ADTConfig.xml file' exists and you have full permission on this path.

And please re-download the Appeon PowerBuilder 2017 installation package from the link below to try again.
Universal installation package: http://file.appeon.com/download/APB/2017/GA/PWRBLDR-2017-1666-UNV-EN.zip
Standard installation package: http://file.appeon.com/download/APB/2017/GA/PWRBLDR-2017-1666-STD-EN.zip

If doing above still cannot figure out the issue, then please try the followings: 
1. Please run chkdsk.exe to check if there is any failure/problem with the disk or any file/system is destroyed.
2. The possible cause of this issue may be that the antivirus software destroy the file, or the security software prevent from file copy. So please disable the antivirus software and security software and try again.

If it is not the case as referred above, then please provide us the following information to move forward.
1. The System Log & Application log.
2. The Appeon Install log file PB_2017_Install.txt & PB_2017_comm.txt.
You can get the Appeon Install log file from the directory below:
C:\windows\System32\ AppeonInstallLog
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AppeonInstallLog

folder "PowerServer" was not created under path "C:\Program Files\Appeon\"



i only have "PowerBuilder 17.0" & "Shared" folder
