If I click any icon on the PowerServer Toolbar, I get the following error message.  "Fail to run toolkit".  Using PB 2017 Build 1681.  What can I do to correct this?  Thanks.

I've been able to get around Appeon toolbar issues by running as Administrator (right click and pick "Run as administrator").

If that works for you, then you may want to run the Appeon Toolset separately as administrator, so that you can run the PB IDE as your regular user account.

That did the trick.  Thank you.

I have never had this issue with PB 2017 and the toolkit toolbar whether running as Admin or not.

However for the past two years now,  I only use W10 based PC's.

I'm still running Windows 7, so that may be a factor.

Hi Shenn;

   That is very unusual and the 1st time that I have heard of this happening.  I would recommend that you uninstall the PowerServer Toolkit that should be listed in the installed applications under your MS-Windows control panel. Then, run just the PowerServer Toolkit install from either your PB 2017 Universal installation or your PowerServer 2017 install to recreate the toolkit properly within your PB 2017 IDE environment. Then reapply the appropriate toolkit maintenance.

   Note1: Do not try and mix & match the Toolkit installation from both PB 2017 Universal and PowerServer 2017. The toolkit is present within both installs. However, Appeon designed it to be installed using either PB 2017 Universal or PS 2017 - not both.

   Note2: Also make sure that if you installed the toolkit via PS 2017 that you do not apply the PB 2017 (build 1689) MR.

Regards ... Chris

Hi Chris,

I followed all your directions and I'm still getting the same error.

Did you install PB, PS & the Toolkit when running the Setup.exe as ADMIN?
