Good day,

Please take a look at the attached image. Is this what you're seeing when you open your AEM (Appeon Enterprise Manager)? http://localhost/AEM/

If so, you must log in with the credentials you established when installing PowerServer. If you don't remember establishing a username and password, by default, the credentials should be:

User name: admin

Password: admin

Once you access the AEM, you will be asked for your Appeon Account credentials. If you have a PowerServer (PB Edition) license, then you should be able to log in to activate PowerServer on this machine.

Full PowerServer installation instructions here: https://www.appeon.com/support/documents/appeon_online_help/pb2019/installation_guide_for_powerserver_pb_edition/index.html

Cordially,

Mariano C.

Hi Mariono

Thanks for your reply.

It al work perfect but suddenly stopped working. In my appeon app on the tablet I got the message: Error code 16105

This powerserver is not activated

So I went to have a look at the server and tryed to log in http://localhost/AEM/ but then I got the message:

Server Error in '/AEM' Application.

Access is denied.

So I don't even get to the login page of the AEM in a browser.

We have a full licenece and IIS is working (regarding to the reply of Armeen)

Again: evrythink was working, we had already made 3 apps in the appeon app on a tablet.

I just did a update on the server but nothing changed

Hi SFR;

From the description you initially gave that AEM was working and PS was activated - it seems to me (just my guess here) that the PS installation might have been corrupted somehow on your IIS system. My suggestion would be to uninstall PS2017 (located at "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\appeon") and the then reinstall it again to get AEM running once again. Once AEM is up & running, then perform the license activation step once again.

If the above works, then I would recommend backing up your IIS folders & files. Then if this situation occurs in the future, a simple IIS Folder restore (ie: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\appeon") should get you back in business.

FWIW: I have had this happen a few times to me on a production box where operations or the IIS Admin did something to corrupt my "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\appeon" folders.

Food for thought ... HTH

Regards ... Chris

You have two issue actually.

First, your IIS is not configured correctly.  I would recommend following the installation guide very carefully because usually people that have such issue did not carefully follow all the steps and configurations in the installation guide.

After you have configured your IIS correctly, then you can proceed to activate the PowerServer.  If it is a developer license you would typically use the online activation method.  If it s a production license then there is a manual process to activate.  Again, please read documentation carefully how to activate is outlined step by step.
