Hi All,

I have configured PowerServer in in one of our application, but when run the application it's getting below error.

"error [08001] [sybase][odbc driver][sql anywhere]unable to start specified database: access is denied."

Please find the below setup I have done as a part of PowerServer configuration.

Through Sybase Central 64 bit database can be connected without any issues.

1. Done the remote server configuration using FTP (it's successfully connected)

2. Created SQL Anywhere 64 bit system DSN ( it's successfully connected )

3. Database mapped in powerserver successfully

4. Web API published successfully

5. browse the web api - http://10.0.100.6:5000 (it's successfully starting)

6. When we run the application url (http://10.0.100.6:80/liveorder_ps_rnd) getting the below DB error

Kindly guide me to solve this issue.

Regards

Rajkumar K S

Hi Chris,

Thanks!

Will check this also, but powerserver demo application (salesdemo) is already configured in this same server (both pb IDE and Sybase instance) is working without any issues.

Rajkumar

Hi Chris,

I have created 32 bit odbc with below settings, now I can run the application without any issues.

start line = C:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 16\Bin64\dbeng16.exe

Thank you Chris for your information.

Hi Rajkumar ;

How is the Transaction Object Mapping declared in PowerServer vs what your PB App is actually using?
