Thru ODBC Data Source Administrator I created a Data Source Call arazoza_local2 connecting to a local database SQL AnyWhere 16. Thru ODBC Adminsitrator I test the connection working perfectly find.

In AEM (Appeon Enterprise Manager) I created a data source using the arazoza_local2, but I could not find SQL AnyWhere 16 driver in the Data Source Type so first I chose Native SQL AnyWhere driver. & I got the following error: "Testing Data Source arazoza_local2 failed: Specified database not found"

Then I chose ODBC then I got this Error: "Testing Data Source arazoza_local2 failed: ERROR [08001] [Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Specified database not found"

The database is at the subfolder where the ODBC data source is pointing at. & it is working fine.

Maybe I am missing something important in the setup. Could somebody gide me in what I am doing wrong.

Regards,

Clarence Chamorro.

Hi Clarence;

  Make sure that the ODBC DSN definition you are using is mapped to a 64bit DB Driver as PowerServer normally installs as a 64bit service by default in most current MS-Windows installations.
