Resolved Powerserver 2021 License issues

Hi,

 

We have a developer license of Powerserver and we are testing the migration of pb application to Powerserver 2021.Even though we have valid period am getting the below error while running the exe after packaging into Powerserver

Please advise what should i do

Regenerate the license code in the User Center (https://account.appeon.com/assign-user/ps), in PowerBuilder Auto Import the license code (https://docs.appeon.com/pb2022r2/appeon_license_user_guide/PowerServer_License_Activation.html), and redeploy your app.

Hi Vignesh,

 

Additionally, please make sure that the Web API server machine has internet access. This is a requirement when running PowerServer 2021 onwards.

Hi Vignesh;

   This looks like it could be an old PS 2020 or earlier license. In PS 2021 or 2022, the PS development license is automatically included as part of PowerBuilder 2021 / 2022 "cloud" edition. Not a separate PS license. The only PS license you would now see in this section that you screen captured would be the "production" PS license.

   FWIW: if your planning to do a proof of concept project, I would move to PB 2022 R2. It has a lot of PS improvements over PS 2021.
