Hello, i have a simple app deployed to PS2021 using my developer license and deployed to a windows 2016 server machine.

Everything worked fine until few hours ago, when accessing the app i get "Session creation failed. Cause: Server has been shutdown (HTTP status code 503)"

The server is up and running, including webserver. I've also tried to restart everything but without success.

After some attempts i've tried to rebuild from scratch my app, but when i try to "compile & Run web apis" i get this error:

fail: PowerServer[0]
      LicenseKey: xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx
      Timestamp: 30/03/2022 14.18.56
      Instance: SIMONE-ASUS(Utente)-9C6CE

Title: PowerServer failed to start. Abnormal network connection
Message: Failed to connect to the license server

My PB cludpro license is still valid,

what could cause this issue?

tia,

    simone

Hi Simone, If it works on your developer machine but not on the remote machine, then it is because the remote machine is not able to connect to the licensing server.  Please verify firewall and proxy configured correctly per the documentation: https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/appeon_license_user_guide/ch04s02.html

Hi Simone, I just checked with our web team and they are doing some maintenance, so it not pinging is expected. The real problem is that PowerServer product didn't switch over to maintenance mode and allow you to continue using it. This is a product bug, which we will fix in upcoming MR. In the meantime, we will do our best complete the maintenance quickly so your downtime is minimized. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

We have had the same problem for hours. No WebAPI can be started. It just hangs at the place where it is supposed to output the license information in debug mode.

The hostnames from the documentation

apips.appeon.com [20.185.179.110]
apips.appeon.net [20.185.179.110]

cannot be pinged.
