Hi Masters and Doctors of PowerServer and Powerbuilder.

Like always the novice (as I know more i learn I do not know that much) asking questions.

Is there a document with the steps to follow how to do the upgrade from Powerserver 2017 to Powerserver 2019?

If there is none then could one of the Doctors give me a north to follow.

Hi Clarence;

   FWIW:. For my development PCs, I always perform a full uninstall of the current PowerServer & PowerServer Toolkit. Then after a reboot, perform the full install of the new PowerServer.

Hi Clarence,

For PB & Toolkit, both PB & Toolkit 2017 and PB & Toolkit 2019 can coexist on the same machine (but you may need to log one out when logging into another if you intend to use them with the same license)

For PowerServer, you can upgrade from 2017 to 2019 directly, it is not need to uninstall PowerServer 2017, please refer to article below for details.
