Resolved PowerClient running for the first time without admin permissions?

Hi,

 

Can I make PowerClient run WITHOUT admin permissions ? 

(That would be AWESOME  .. in that way the app could reach extreme number of users)

 


Our app(s) does NOT require to register anything (ActiveX etc.) that requires admin permissions. It can run right out of any folder having the exe etc.

Hi Steven;

  The key for anyone to run your PC based App(s) is the way you build your Cloud App Launcher. You'll notice in the CAL build dialogue that you can create either a user or public configuration. The public (all users) one requires local Admin to install. The "use" based CAL configuration and associated default Apps targeted this way, install the CAL, PB runtime & your App(s) into the user's "AppData/roaming" folder by default. That should allow anyone to run PC Apps without any special privileges  HTH
