HI,

Is there somewhere a document that compares Citrix with current Powerbuilder Web?

Can someone also please tell me how big my web server (hardware) must be to run let say 200 people.

Regards

MLB

Appeon does not provide such comparison document, but most people are clear what they don't like about Citrix.  Assuming you are OK that PowerServer is NOT an HTML UI, it basically has none of the shortcomings of Citrix.  The reason is that PowerServer is an n-tier Web architecture whereas something like Citrix is just screen scraping many many many instances of client/server apps running on the server.

As far as what kind of server you need to run 200 users, I bet you could even run PowerServer on a laptop of these days.  Citrix is much more resource intensive since it is not an n-tier Web architecture.  It will need tons of RAM on the server and from what I have see I think 75 users per Citrix server is a good ballpark.
