Hello,

Is there an easy way to search for a specific string across multiple targets in PowerBuilder? Maybe at the workspace level?

Thanks

Praveen

Roland - Exactly what I needed, works great and it is much much faster than the regular PB search. Very helpful tool. Thanks.

Hi Praveen;

  You hit the solution "nail on the head" so to speak. That is what I do .. create a "Search Workspace" that includes all the Targets that you wish to search across and then search from the Workspace level.  yes

Hi Chris - I do not see a search option at the Workspace level :-(

You're right ... I forgot that Sybase took that option away - even from the Library painter!

The next alternative is to create a "Dummy" Workspace & Target. Then add all the PBL's you need to search on to the "dummy" target. Then search from that Target object level.

Sorry for the confusion!
