Hello,

I'm testing PowerBuilder application on WIN 11 and getting following errors. Current application is 32 bit and looks like under WIN 11, 64-bit is expected. The application is build in PB 32-bit version 2019 R3 Build 2728. Also this is happening when invoking application  from the "installCM.cmd" script using "start update93.exe" command.

I tried recompile with 64-bit - no success

The runtime used is 19.2.0.2703

Please advise.

Hello, based on your comments, I downloaded PB 2022 Runtime 32bit 22.0.0.1900. Rebuild all applications and this is what I see now:

1. There is cmd file installCM93.cmd, which has 1 command: start update93.exe

2. update93.exe is Powerbuilder app compiled within PB 2022 Runtime 32bit 22.0.0.1900.

3. When invoking cmd file, I'm getting following message.

This is automatic process and I need to set it up running without any messages.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Felix.

From the PB 2022 compile, did you also copy the new generated <app name>.XML file to your Uodate93.exe location?

Hi

it looks like the runtimes are missing. Check the help about deploying an application. As you're using PB 12.5, I suggest updating to PB 2022.

Arthur

Hi Miguel

maybe the update93.exe is written in PB 12.5.

You're probably right. Very little information on the problem.

Yes, the exe he is running is clearly PB12 becuase of the DLLs missing. So I assume that he needs to clean up his environment and try running the correct.

Having read his latest I would suspect that he has not set the exename.xml file to point to the correct location for his deployment.

Hi Felix;

FYI: The first PB version certified for W11 use is PB 2022.
