Resolved Powerbuilder migration from 2019 R2 to 2021 - PB Ultimate suite

Hi Team,

We are in the process of migrating our applications from 'Powerbuilder 2019 R2' (Appeon Powerbuilder, version-2019 R2 Build 2328) to 'Appeon Powerbuilder 2021' (IDE : Version 2021 build 1509).

We are using PB Ultimate Suite from NOVALYS (https://www.pbultimatesuite.com/EN/about-powerbuilder-ultimate-suite/about-novalys.html),
the set of libraries in our application (Ultimate suite for PB 2019R2).

Post migration, could you please let us know if we need to get the latest version of PB Ultimate Suite (ie: Ultimate suite for Powerbuilder 2021) or can we reuse the same ie: existing Ultimate Suite of version 2019.

Requesting you to consider this with priority and please provide us an update at the earliest.

Hi.

As Armeen said you should contact novalys.

But I do guess that you do have either professional (perpetual edition) either enterprise which provides you full source code. In the case of enterprise, I guess you can migrate to pb 2021. I don't know if professional is providing pbd's instead of pbls. If that's the case then you need pbd's for PB 2021...

I would suggest contact Novalys since this is not product of Appeon.
