Hi everyone,

I have a problem with PowerBuilder 2017R3 IDE. When i start debug, the IDE has crash.

The button to debug disable and the IDE close.

The event log from windows it is like this:

Hi MiguelL,

 

FullBuild also has crash IDE

I'm new in appeon, where i download the mr 1915? I downloaded the ide in user center from appeon.

Running IDE as administrator nothing has changed.

My OS is windows 10 pro.
I don't have other computer unfortuny.

I create a simple application to submit.

Hi Rodrigo;

  FWIW: Never had any debugging issues with PB2017Rx versions. I use W10 exclusively.

  Have you tried debugging other PB Apps?

Then I would suggest ...

1) Clear the IDE layout settings

2) Delete all the .OPT files

BTW: Any MS-Windows patches applied around the time the problem started?

FWIW: try running the IDE in ADMIN mode.

Did you delete all your .OPT files from your PB Apps' work folder?

The problem is "layout" from IDE.

In regedit, i delete the value "layout" in Computador\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sybase\PowerBuilder\17.0 and the debug work fine, but affter debbuging, the "layout" create again and will need delete again

Hi Rodrigo ... suggestion: Try copying (export/import) these "Layout" settings from another PB Developer's machine where the IDE behaves OK.

Worked normally now. I deleted .OPT from one application and all other application work again :O
