Any help to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Solution for this issue is to call the MDI Help within the Parent

eg. OpenWithParm (w_mdi_help_window, This )

Hi Chris

Appreciate your response.

Not sure what kind of VMWare setting that needs to be changed.

BTW, I haven't tried building a small app yet.

App runs fine from desktop or Citrix. Only issue is in VMWare Environment when run as an App.

No issues when I run the App in VMWare desktop

Hi Ganaesu ;

  FYI: I just checked the Support Ticket database against all VMWare related tickets. I could not find any that related to this problem. So it sounds like this issue might be VMWare environment / setting related issue (just my best guess at the moment).

  PS: Have you tried building a very simple PB App that uses one MDI Window and one sheet Window & does it behave the same weird way under your current VMWare environment?

Regards .. Chris

Hi Ganaesu ;

Since that PB build was "End of Maintenance" on 2022.08.06 and "End of Life" on 2023.08.06 ...

Have you tried using a current supported version of PB like PB 2022 R3 build 3356?

Regards .. Chris

Yes, we did upgrade to 3356 and received the same error.

This error occurred only when the App is run from VMWare workstations, not in Citrix, network or desktop.
