By the way, one thing I noticed, is that while PowerBuilder shows R2 in shortcuts / menus / help about, SnapDevelop doesn't.

This was a little bit confusing, as I thought that SnapDevelop wasn't updated or was installed to some different location. But it's updated as it shows the right build...

This is really minor, but can be confusing.

Andreas.

Yes, the reason for this is that the SnapDevelop included with this new version of PowerBuilder is still the 2022 version of SnapDevelop. There are no new features during this minor update of PB added to SnapDevelop.

Yes, Andreas is correct. The current beta version of the framework was built on R2 beta build 2790. That should migrate cleanly to the R2 GA build.

I will release an official framework version soon for the R2 release though.

Hi Everyone;

I uploaded a new STD Framework OrderEntry Demo App to the beta area on the Source Forge website last night.

The Demo App has the latest framework version included that is now compiled under 2022 R2 build 2819.

This build also now has support for multiple DBMS in one app, uses the SetPowerServerURL() command, has the Microsoft Office 365 spelling working again, etc

Please give this a try & let me know how it runs on your systems. ;-)

Regards ... Chris
