Hello

Using PB 2019 R3

Is there any advantage in using PB 2021 rather than PB 2019 R3?

Currently no Plan to use PowerServer
Need to know what improvements / bug fixes done in PB / SD 2021

Happiness Always

As John pointed out, a lot of bug fixes.  In terms of new features besides PowerServer, you get PBAutoBuild.  https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/whats_new/ch01s01s02.html

By the way, starting from PB 2019 R3 you can compile for multiple runtime versions.  So even you upgrade to 2021 version, you could still set the IDE to compile for 2019 R3 runtime.  This way you at least get the IDE enhancements/fixes but you can still stay with 2019 R3 for runtime if you want.  https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/whats_new/Separating_Runtime_from_IDE.html#d0e726

Have you examined the online Release Bulletin documentation for PB 2021?

https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/release_bulletin_for_pb/Build-1288-GA.html

In it you'll see a section listed for Bug Fixes, and in it, a link to a list of the issues that have been fixed.

Hi BKR;

   PB2021 is all about PowerServer 2021. Other than that, PB2019R3 feature wise is the same.
