OS: Win10 latest build

Version: PowerBuilder 2019 R2 Build 2328

Problem: PB main window in Monitor 1, some popup windows awkwardly pops in Monitor 2

How do I avoid this?  Thanks

Those popup windows include:

  1. Search library entries
  2. Tools - System Options
  3. Tools - Toolbars
  4. Tools - System Shortcuts
  5. Tools - To do lists
  6. Tools - Browsers
  7. Tools - Database Profiles

Below popup windows display in Monitor 1

  1. Tools - Library Painter is fine
  2. Tools - Database Painter is fine
  3. Tools - File Editor is fine

Hi Ian;

Unfortunately, the PB IDE is not multiple monitor aware currently. The best is to use the IDE on monitor #1 only if you can to avoid this situation.

I have two PC's with 32" dual monitors. I get this situation if I run on the IDE on monitor #2 with some dialogues appearing on monitor #1. If I run the IDE on monitor #1, then all subsequent popup dialogues are also on monitor #1. The key might is to make sure that you do not stretch / move the IDE so that appears across both monitors in any degree.

Ok, I find it.

Although it is Monitor #1, I have to check "Make this my main display" in Display Settings.

Then all those popup windows go to Monitor #1 now.
