Hello,

I am using PowerBuilder 2019 R2, on Windows 7.

I am not able to apply the themes. This feature is not working.

After reinstall PB 2019 R2, I noticed that PB is not taking the theme path by default.

My question is:

Where is PB 2019 storing the themes path by default?

In some point i am not able to see the preview because the path is not correct.

Thanks,

Hi Jhonns

Since you can restore and preview Thems but it doesn’t work on your application, does Theme work when you launch your application under IDE?
Please try to launch PB IDE via Run as administrator and see if it is OK.

Meanwhile, it is recommended that you:
1. Refer to the link below to check whether you apply the theme correctly.
https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r2/pbug/ch04s04.html#d0e7860
2. reinstall PB and install it to the D:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon directory and see if it works.
3. If the issue still persists, please open a ticket in our support ticketing system (https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug), and also provide a screenshot about the Theme Settings of your application and the runtime environment. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ken

Hi  Jhonns

From the screenshot you provided, the default Theme path of your PB should be C:\Program Files\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder\theme190.

Generally speaking,

If PB is installed under C:\Program Files\Appeon directory, then the Default Theme Path is C:\Program Files\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder\theme190.

If PB is installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon directory,  then the Default Theme Path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder\theme190.

Due to that PB IDE is 32-bit, I suggest you install PB IDE to C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon.

Regards,

Ken
