Hi,

For our product development we are using PowerBuilder 2017 R3 and soon planning to migrate to PB2019 R3 for an upcoming release. However the older versions of our product will continue to use PB2017R3.

We have been using VSS as SCM tool for couple of decades.

As the VSS server is throwing issues intermittently, we have planned to move either to TFVC or Git (Both sitting On onpremise Azure Devops environment)

1) Can you kindly advice on whether we can go ahead and move to Git repository ?

2) Are there any risks or known issues?

3) As the entire history of objects going to be in local machine, will it occupy large space in local drive?

4) Should PBLs be maintained in repository?

Thanks in Advance

Ganesan R
