I had to reinstall PowerBuilder 12.5.2 today and now my PowerBuilder 2017 R3 IDE won't display.

When I launch the PowerBuilder 2017 R3 program it does the licensing check and then disappears. The process exists in the taskbar but when I hover over it, it is blank. It was working fine last week before the reinstall of 12.5.2. Any ideas on what could be causing this behavior?

This is on Windows 10.

Hi Gene;

   We could probably go back & forth and speculate all day what may have caused this by installing PB 12.5.x.

My suggestion would be to just "uninstall" PB2017Rx and then just re-install it (as long as you were using the on-line licensing model).

Regards ... Chris

That is Wonderful news Gene!

Sorry that you had to go to all that trouble of re-installing though.

I was hoping for a known issue with a simple fix but if a reinstall is the best path I'll give it a go tomorrow.

Thanks Chris.
