Hi Richard,

Please provide information below to us for more study, thanks.

1.  Which version of PB is installed: Cloud, Standard or Universal?

2. Please clear Temp directory and restart computer, then install again to check there is still the issue. If yes, please try to download another version (Cloud, Standard or Universal).

3. Please try to install InfoMaker or PowerServer to check if they are installed successfully.

4. Please try to install PB on other computer to check there is still the same issue.

5. Please provide the System Log & Application log.

6. please provide the Appeon Install log file PB_2017_Install.txt & PB_2017_comm.txt.

  Appepn Install log on below directories:

C:\windows\System32\ AppeonInstallLog

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AppeonInstallLog

1. Universal.

2. Will try, but if you read the error message, a file is missing from the .CAB ... There's nothing wrong with the computer.

I've tried all the above... The problem is that the file does not exist in your InstallShield .cab file.

I copied the Sybase/Shared/Powerbuilder/jdk1.6.0_24 directory into Appeon/Shared/Powerbuilder/  ... reran the installer, and the installer continued through the files. BUT then ran into another missing file:

Hi Richard;

  Also if you have not tried  .... you might like to try running the installation as Administrator.

HTH

I am also getting this error on my Windows 7 PC.  I tried rebooting, taking ownership of the installation folder (enditre Program Files).  I ran as Administrator but nothing works.  I tried installing only minimal components and it still gives this error.
