We upgraded from PB 12.5 to PB 19 and we have had some clients report issues in their TS environment with Server 2016 and SQL Server 2019.  Clients running through Citrix or on-premise aren't reporting any issues.   Does anyone know if there are compatibility issues with Server 2016 and PB19 in a TS environment?

PB2019R3
Windows 10 64 bit platform
Client/Server apps

Try to get some performance data on each of the two apps when they are run without the other.

As much as I love PB2019R3, in our environment we have seen a 5X degradation in performance with our main app; meaning that the exact same code in the exact same environment run in the exact same situation with the exact same data was 5X faster when the code was PBv12.1 than the same code compiled in PB2019R3.

Sadly, others have reported this as well.

See if each app is running slower, or if it only occurs when more than one of your PB2019R3 apps is running ath the same time.

Client is reporting when they are running 2 separate applications (both built in PB19) that there is degradation in the performance.  We are trying to get more information and prove it is their environment but I did want to rule out potential conflicts with PB19 and terminal server.

Thanks!

Are you on 2019 R3 latest build/bug fixes?

In PB.INI, is ACCESSIBILITY=0?

In PB.INI, is UseHwnd=no?

On the Windows Server, is there a default printer configured and it is working properly?

Many customers are using PowerBuilder on Windows Server 2016 as that is quite old version now.

What specific issue is happening?
