Resolved PowerBuilder 10 - File open - select all libraries as default

In the IDE if I select FIle - Open - I want the entire list of libraries to be selected as the default when the window opens. Currently it is not doing this and even if I

manually select them all , exit and return,  this setting is not persisting. How do I keep it? Is it a PB.INI setting or a registry setting or can it be defaulted in the IDE?

Hi Paul,

 

Information related to your preferences (such as the applications you have created, the way you have arranged your views in the painters, and the shortcut keys you have defined for PowerBuilder menu items) is stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Sybase/PowerBuilder/17.0. 

 

Also, try to open PowerBuilder IDE as an "Administrator". See if this allows you to save those settings. 

 

I closed the "Open" window by clicking on the "X" instead of the "Cancel" button. It also worked properly.

Thanks for your reply. I tried both suggestions but neither worked. I am running PowerBuilder 10.0 on  a server. Running as admin or clicking the control menu (x) did not save the settings. I tried to look at the PB ini file and the registry but I cannot find any documentation so I don't know where to locate a possible setting that would fix the issue.
