Hi Sir,

  This is my first time to use the power server debug features, i had deployed my application to web server. And now, when i try to run the Debug project, i below errors.  Can please guide me? Thank you.

"Failed to get the client app files from the web server. Please make sure the project is deployed to the target web server, the web root path specified for the server is valid, and you can connect to the server successfully.'

By the way, i am using 'Create a package' to make a zip files. Then manually copy the zip files to my web server.

Hi Sim;

  There are two steps to a PS App deployment, as follows:

  • Package the App from the dve3lopment Web Server into a Web ZIP & deploy that to the deployment web server.
  • Package the PowerServer part as a ZIP package from SnapDevelop & deploy that to the deployment machine.

Did you complete both of the above steps while changing the development URL & Port number from the development machine to align with the deployment machine?

Regards ... Chris

Hi Chris,

I finally can debug now. I just changed the webserver host at the Startup basic tab.

Thanks.
