Hi,

I am evaluating the use of Power-Client for App Deployment for out team. I tried to use an SFTP connection for a target server on port 22 but somehow it does not seem to work from the power client project (although I can connect to the server via winscp at the same time).

My question: Is the use of SFTP supported here?

I saw another unanswered question in this q&a (in the wrong category) so I would be happy if you could answer this question for me.

Thanks and best regards,

Stefan

If you want to do SFTP, just select the second radio button where it generates a packaged .ZIP file.  Then you would use a separate SFTP client (for example Filezilla) to transfer the .ZIP to your Web server.  Of course once there unzip it and place in correct directories of your Web server.

No, it isn't.

The default port for SFTP is 22. The default port for FTP is 20. Port 21 is a control port for FTP so that wouldn't work even if supported.
