Hi all,

I have a power builder 9 report that has a double nested report inside of it.  it's an invoice report and the main form calls a data window that will call another data window that will print the details of the report.  the problem is if i have more than eight rows of details the power builder will print all the details on the next page and i end up with a blank invoice report and a bunch of invoice details printed on a blank white page.

is there a way to tell the power builder to do a form feed if there are more than 8 rows returned from the nested, nested  report??

I hope this makes

thanks

David

It's hard to envisage what you are trying to achieve and why you need 3 nested DWs. If there was a natural page break I would have expected the whole page to be repeated.

My rule of thumb is to only have nested reports in the main section of the DW. The fact that you are getting the nested details reported on a blank page sounds odd and makes me thing that you have something printing outside of the page margin.

I bit more info and we can perhaps help more.

Cheers

David
