With the demise of Codeplex is/has anyone ported the PFC project?

(or am I volunteering?)

I think the OP was confused that there are no .pbl files in the PFC on Github.

I tried using it today and had the same frustration. There are .pbg files and .sr* files so thought I could simply create the .pbl myself and import all the objects into .pbl but the import stops at the first failure so I'm unable to use the PFC in PowerBuilder 2017 R3- or at least not yet.

Has the OP solved this problem?

The note on Github says do unzip a file in the Release folder to get the .pbl files but I couldn't find any zip file.

I'm wondering if I need to set up Git and have Git load the objects into PBL's based on the pbg file. I've never started without a base .pbl file and suspect the OP hasn't either.

Anyone? Us original PB developers are getting to be old dogs- these new tricks are frustrating sense the frustration of OP too, demoralizing. Not as easy as we thought.

Here is the new official open-source site for PFC: https://github.com/OpenSourcePFCLibraries

Version of PFC migrated to PowerBuilder 2017 is also available there.

Sorry, I'm super confused with the GitHub.  Is there a way/place to download the entire PBL for the PFC files instead of each individual object?  I've tried migrating my old PFC 12 files (which were old PFC 10 files...) and I'm getting no where fast.  Everything keeps corrupting each other.

I think you just did!

There are two GIT/SCC API interfaces that I can find. It would be helpful if someone knowledgeable with GIT could compare them.

I can't give a comparison of the difference, but I have heard from other PowerBuilder users that PushOK works fine with GIT.

One issue is that PushOK doesn't appear to have updated anything recently.  The last news update on their site is from 2012.

We're looking at moving to Agent SVN instead of the PushOK tool in order to keep up with SVN versions.  PushOK released a "release candidate" in 2015 for 1.8 support, and never released a final version.  We're already moving to 1.9.

I'm downloaded the pbsoftware one in order to check it out.  It at least seems to be currently supported.
