Hello,

we just installed the Powerbuilder 2017R2 / PBShell.

When I start the pbshell applik, an error message appears. This happens only on some machines.

We also tried to install R1 before, deinstall, install R2 again....

Thank you very much for any kind of answers.

Best regards,

Oliver.

Hi Oliver,

As Chris mentioned you can send your feedback to Engineering. Or you can also open a support ticket and submit your case screenshots, documents or error messages to Appeon Support: https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug where we can also keep track of this issues.

Thanks,

we are in contact with Appeon, but 'classic' topics seem to have priority.

Regards,

Oliver.

Hi Oliver;

  FYI: PB 20917 R2 has not yet been released.

Note: If you are on the PB 2017 R2 beta though - PB 2017 R2 can not be installed on any PC that has PB 2017 GA or  MR01 thru  MR03 installed on it during the beta cycle currently.

Regards ... Chris

Thanks Chris. In our case we have 2 machines that work, 2 that don't. In the two that work, the colleagues installed first PB 2017 (not R2),

de-installed PB 2017 and installed R2.

The two not working machines didn't first install PB 2017, but PB2017 R2 directly. After recognizing that it doesn't work we de-installed R2 and tried the behavior of the two working machines which wasn't successful.

Best regards,

Oliver.

Hi Oliver;

  Please send your feedback to the Appeon Engineering team to test this aspect as we are now concluding the R2 beta testing phase.

Thanks ... Chris
