Resolved PBAUTOBUILD220.EXE

Hi,

We have some problems with PBAUTOBUILD220.EXE.

The fisrt one is about a very simple build with an executable associated with a resource file :

and several librairies. When we build the project with PBAUTOBUILD220.EXE, the library below (in yellow) is not integrated in the executable :

because this library is not in the same path than the others. We we run the compiled source we have an error 2 "null object reference".

If we build and deploy with Powerbuildr IDE, it works fine

The second problem is about images (.png, .bmp, .ico, .jpeg) which are not integrated in the PBD : our project has multiple PBLs and some have PBR files associated. All the images which aren't in the same path as the executable are ignored

Do all the PBR files reference resources with NO Path?

Hi Catherine,

 

AutoBuild basically uses paths relative to pbt. Did you make any manual changes to the JSON after exporting it from the IDE?

I suggest you submit a ticket, and send us the exported JSON file along with screenshots of the directory structure of your case, resources, and other related elements for analysis.

Hi

For your PBL not being included in the build, I would be checking the JSON file paths fo the PBLs. There must be something odd about that structure.

For images, this will undoubtedly be the paths in the PBR. I would play about with these till it works.

If you raise a support ticket, KItty has been very helpful to us.
